Exhibition Talks
Fifty-minute guided tours of many of LACMA's special exhibitions are offered weekly. Please see the online calendar for the times and locations of these tours.
Group Tours
For customized docent-led tours for twenty or more adults, please call 323 857-6008, or email groupsales@lacma.org. Joanna Hernandez or Christine Taguines. Tours for smaller groups are also available, however minimum fees apply.
School Tours
Grades 1–12 are given tours by volunteer docents free of charge from October through May. Nine thematic tours, specialized tours, and tours of special exhibitions are available. Pre-visit tour materials are sent to teachers to prepare students for their visit. For information about school tours, please click here.
Permanent Collection Tours
Gallery talks focusing on LACMA's permanent collection are given daily, except Wednesday, when the museum is closed. Please see the online calendar for current tour topics.
The Art of Looking
Join LACMA educators for a one-hour facilitated gallery discussion focusing on the permanent collection.

Art Chats
Join the conversation! Gallery teachers facilitate fifty-minute discussions about special exhibitions. Look closely and learn about selected artworks in the exhibition. Ask questions, share ideas, and consider multiple points of view.
From July through September Art Chats will explore Your Bright Future: 12 Contemporary Artists from Korea. Meet at the entrance to the exhibition.

Gallery Conversations
LACMA introduces a new way to experience the museum with Gallery Conversations, every weekend. For the months of July and August, drop by the modern and contemporary art galleries for informative and informal conversations about works of art with gallery educators.

Andell Family Sundays Tours
Join us for tours presented bilingually in English and Spanish as part of Andell Family Sundays activities. These interactive tours are designed specifically for families to look, listen, and share ideas together. Check the family day schedule for current and upcoming themes.
Family Guide
Providing parents and children a unique way to experience art at the museum, the family guide features eight activity cards with images and easy-to-read explanations highlighting works from LACMA's permanent collection. The guide offers parents simple questions to begin a dialogue about art with their children and lends an explorative approach to capture the imagination of kids between the ages of six and twelve years old. Your free copy to keep is available at the Welcome Center box office. Available in English and Spanish.
Art Tote
To help families further explore the works highlighted in the family guide, the kid's art tote contains touch objects and hands-on materials to assist children in learning more about art through engaging activities. The activities are customized to aid children in developing a well-rounded connection and understanding of art. Checkout is free at the Welcome Center box office with deposit and valid ID. Available in English and Spanish.

Unless noted otherwise, education programs are free to museum members and included in the general admission fee for all others. No seating is reserved.
